The Java Application Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications, working with Jakarta EE, implementing Microservices architecture, and utilizing the Spring Framework. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and ensuring code quality and security.QualificationsJava, Jakarta EE, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skillsExperience with Microservices architecture and the Spring FrameworkStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldCertifications in relevant technologies like Spring Framework or Jakarta EE are a plus Job Duties Build high performing, new services that are defect freeAnalyze existing code, find in implement improvementsDrive the resolution of problems found in existing applicationsDesign and build jobs using code, SQL, and scriptingWork with front-end developers to build complete, end-to-end systems.Manage and maintain code base in Git.

Job Requirements Experience in one or more modern development language (Java1.8)Experience in Springboot & MicroservicesPrevious work building RESTful services and APIsFamiliar with coding patterns, both object oriented and procedural.Makes a habit of covering the majority of their code with unit testsAbility to debug code quickly and efficientlyExperience working with SQL, NoSQL, message and data.Hands-on experience with a javascript structural framework (React).Previous work done on high-traffic public facing websites.Understand the mechanics of responsive web design using HTM5/CSS3

Not Required, but Preferred Experience with Oracle and PL-SQLExperience securing a public facing APIExperience developing as part of an agile teamExperience solutioning and estimating requirementsExtensive knowledge of system architecture patternsSecure coding training and/or experience
