Job Title: B2C Commerce Cloud Front-End Developer

We are seeking an experienced B2C Commerce Cloud Front-End Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and its Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). You will be responsible for developing and implementing features to optimize our e-commerce site’s user interface and improve the customer experience.Key Responsibilities:Front-End Development:Develop, enhance, and maintain the front-end architecture of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform.Implement responsive design principles to ensure that the storefront is optimized for various devices and screen sizes.Work closely with the back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.ISML & SFRA Development:Utilize ISML (Internet Store Markup Language) to create and customize templates.Work within the SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) framework to build new features and maintain existing components.Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into functional, visually appealing user interfaces.Performance Optimization:Optimize the performance of the storefront through efficient code, minimizing load times and enhancing overall user experience.Implement best practices for caching, image optimization, and lazy loading.API Integration:Integrate third-party services and Salesforce products through RESTful APIs.Work on custom integrations and maintain robust, secure connections between the storefront and other platforms.Page Designer and Content Management:Develop custom components and layouts for use within Salesforce’s Page Designer tool.Collaborate with the content management team to ensure seamless content updates and deployment.Testing & Debugging:Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality and performance standards are met.Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.Qualifications:Experience:3+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on e-commerce platforms.At least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).Technical Skills:Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SCSS.Strong experience with ISML and SFRA frameworks.Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.Familiarity with development tools like Git, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and task runners such as Gulp or Grunt.
