Sr Dotnet Developer

Role: Sr. Dot Net Developer Experience – 5 to 10 yrsLocation – PuneNotice Period: Within 15days or Immediate JoinerResponsibilitiesDesign and develop restful services using Web API as per requirementsActively participate in design discussions involving business requirementsDocument as per organization guidelines and standardsLearn "on the job" to take up independent assignmentsProvide visibility on progress of work on a periodic basisProvide meaningful estimate of assigned work with appropriate justificationIntegrate with other systems or applications using appropriate mechanismsImprove functionality of existing systemsCoordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutionsProvide integration with variety of data storage and /or backend systems as requiredMentor junior team members and proactively share knowledge

Required / Mandatory SkillMinimum 3 years of experience working in web application development projectsMinimum 3 years of experience using ASP.NET MVC / Web APIMinimum 1 year experience in classic ASP.NET (Web Forms)Knowledge of C# is a must (VB.NET or any other language is not acceptable)Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET MVC / Web API (.NET v4.5+) with usage in minimum 3 projectsBasic understanding of version control with knowledge of any one of: SVN, VSS, CVS, TFS / GitHubGood knowledge of SQL programming with usage in minimum 2 projectsGood knowledge of using any ORM library like Entity Framework, NHibernate or equivalent

Preferable / Nice to haveKnowledge of Microsoft Azure, specifically from various data storage optionsExperience in any of the Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP or IterativeBasic understanding of Design Patterns used in building .NET back-end servicesExperience in leading a team in at least 1 project involving ASP.NET MVC / Web API
