Node JS Application Developer

Akkodis is seeking a – Node JS Application Developer for a Contract position with a client located in Remote

Pay/Salary Range: $48-$50/hr. (Depends upon experience)

Job DescriptionPrimary job duties/responsibilities:1. Develop and Maintain Applications: Utilize Node.js to build and manage web applications and services, ensuring high performance and scalability.2. Cloud Solutions: Deploy and manage applications on AWS and/or Azure, leveraging cloud-native features for enhanced functionality and reliability.3. Generative AI Integration: Incorporate Generative AI tools like Code Whisperer or CoPilot to enhance code quality, accelerate development, and optimize workflows.4. Backend Integration: Handle complex backend-heavy integration tasks, including connecting various systems and ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.5. API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) to support application functionality and inter-service communication.6. CI/CD Practices: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure continuous integration and delivery of applications.7. Optimization and Performance: Continuously optimize backend services, cloud resources, and APIs to improve performance and reduce latency.8. Documentation and Best Practices: Document code, APIs, and cloud configurations, and adhere to best practices in development, deployment, and integration.

Nice-to-have skills:1. Strong skills in API development and management (RESTful, GraphQL).2. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.3. Knowledge of performance optimization and data synchronization.
