Senior Frontend Developer (Lit/Javascript)

Our client in the professional services sector is looking for a contract based frontend developer with experience in JavaScript/Lit Web components.

Duration: 5 monthsLocation: Remote

Responsibilities:Develop high-quality, reusable UI components using Lit Web Components, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.Design responsive, accessible, and performant UI components.Extend the existing component library for various applications (Salesforce, AEM, PEGA, Ionic, etc.).Document components using Storybook.Ensure seamless integration with the CI/CD pipeline.Participate in Agile development methodologies.Test and debug developed components for cross-browser compatibility.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including designers and product managers.

Requirements5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio.Proficiency in Lit Web Components, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.Experience building design systems utilizing design tokensWorking knowledge of Git, ES6, linting, SASS, Flex, Grids, Webpack, NPM, package linking, package versioning, CI/CD, Jenkins, and Storybook.Experience with Web Components / Lit.dev.Previous experience working, building, and maintaining a custom design system.Strong knowledge of web fundamentals.Familiarity with Node Express, Bootstrap, and Style Dictionary.
