Compensation Range: $90,000 - 105,000 per year

Our client is looking for an experienced Magento Developer to join their team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of their e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Magento development, a passion for creating high-quality, scalable solutions, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

This role is full-time, remote and a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.Customize and extend Magento functionalities to meet specific business requirements.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Design and implement efficient, reusable, and reliable code.Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products on time.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Magento development.Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices in web development.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Magento Developer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Magento development.Strong knowledge of Magento 2.x, including experience with Magento themes, modules, and extensions.Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as integration with third-party services.Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including payment gateways, shipping, and tax configurations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.Magento certification is a plus.
