Who We AreCrowdwave is an exciting new product leveraging the power of LLMs to simulate audiences for consumer sentiment research. Before running costly human surveys to get feedback on new marketing materials, branding, product ideas, etc., companies and researchers will be able to use our product to quickly run surveys on virtual audiences representing specific consumer segments. AI allows for faster, lower-cost research, and unlocks additional types of studies such as iterative follow-up surveys, counterfactual comparisons, and lengthy or in-depth surveys that are impractical with human respondents.

What You’ll DoWe are seeking a dynamic Developer to drive the development of our state-of-the-art AI-powered audience simulator. This role demands a strong command of front-end technologies, particularly ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and the ability to independently write and deploy code in a fast-paced startup environment. You will:Own the front-end codebase end-to-end as we complete our beta and launch our product late this summer, with an emphasis on front-end ownershipCollaborate directly with product, design, and leadership to translate business needs and requirements into realistic timelines, prioritizations, and featuresWork with product and design teams to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that provide valuable insights for diverse research applicationsHelp the team to conduct rigorous testing and debugging to enhance the performance and usability of our productManage a seamless integration of frontend and backend components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the applicationMaintain and optimize application scalability to handle increased data loads and user traffic, employing best practices in software development and version control with tools like Git

What We’re Looking ForProven expertise in working with front-end technologies, particularly ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliarity with back-end technologies like Python and FastAPI is a plus, but not the primary focusDemonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain large-scale web applications, particularly those involving complex data interactions and user interfaces (experience in B2B/SaaS tools a plus)Expertise in utilizing version control systems, such as Git, to manage development cycles and collaborate across functional teamsStrong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems creativelyExcellent communication skills, capable of driving a team towards innovative solutions and effectively engaging with stakeholders to meet project goal
