Salesforce Commerce cloud developer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to join our dynamic e-commerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform to deliver a seamless online shopping experience. You will work closely with our front-end and back-end teams to create scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions.Key Responsibilities:Platform Development:Develop and implement new features and functionality on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform.Customize and extend the functionality of SFCC to meet business needs and improve the user experience.Utilize ISML (Internet Store Markup Language), Pipelines, Controllers, and SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) to build and enhance storefronts.Integration and Customization:Integrate third-party services and APIs into the SFCC platform.Develop custom cartridges and extensions to enhance the platform’s capabilities.Work on headless commerce solutions and integrate them with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.Performance Optimization:Optimize site performance by writing efficient code and leveraging SFCC best practices.Implement caching strategies and performance monitoring tools to ensure the platform’s reliability and speed.Testing & Debugging:Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).Debug and troubleshoot issues related to platform performance, data integration, and user interface.Collaboration & Documentation:Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver robust e-commerce solutions.Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for the development team and other stakeholders.Qualifications:Experience:3+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development.Proven experience with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and/or legacy pipeline architecture.Technical Skills:Proficiency in ISML, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and XML.Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Knowledge of web technologies like AJAX, JSON, and web services.Experience with Git or other version control systems.
