Role: IBM DB2 Developer (W2 Only)

Location: Remote

IBM DB2 developers work with IBM DB2, a family of relational database management systems (RDBMS) developed by IBM. They may perform a variety of tasks, including:

Designing and developing application systems

This may involve integrating technologies like IBM DB2, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions.

Tuning processes

This may involve adhering to IBM DB2 development standards and best practices, and conducting performance tuning in a partitioned database environment.

Reviewing work

This may include reviewing other team members' work for accuracy, adherence to standards, and optimization.

Providing support

This may include providing application-level production support, such as maintaining IBM DB2 processes, and providing technical support and troubleshooting for applications developed using IBM DB2.

Developing shell scripts

This may involve developing shell scripts for parallel execution of processes on IBM DB2.
