Senior Node.js Developer

Job Title: Senior Developer - Node.jsLocation- Remote/PolandExperience- 7+ years

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Developer/Tech Lead with expertise in Node.js, Kubernetes, AWS, Apache Pulsar, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the technical efforts to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, as well as guiding the team in implementing best practices and optimizing code quality. This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, and hands-on experience in building and maintaining high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of performance issues across our Node.js-based microservices.Code Quality: Ensure that code is scalable, maintainable, and adheres to industry best practices.Performance Optimization: Analyze, identify, and implement performance improvements in the existing codebase.Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment and management of applications on Kubernetes and AWS.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development, with a strong focus on backend services.Kubernetes: Proficient in deploying, managing, and scaling applications in Kubernetes.AWS: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3 and RDS.Apache Pulsar: Experience with event streaming platforms like Apache Pulsar (Must Have)Database Management: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.Problem-Solving: Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues in distributed systems. Preferred Skills:CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.Security Best Practices: Knowledge of application and cloud security best practices.Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development processes and tools.
