We are looking for a talented and motivated Developer Relations Engineer with a strong technical background, willingness to travel, and a passion for public appearances to join the Concordium team.This is an exciting opportunity to work on the cutting edge of blockchain technology while engaging with a global community of developers.This position is ideal for someone who is deeply technical, yet thrives on public speaking, enjoys engaging with the community, and loves being in the spotlight.Responsibilities include teaching and developing dApps on the latest Concordium releases, creating educational content, and leading developer events globally.
Key Responsibilities:Develop dApps, examples, and demos to showcase Concordium's capabilities for community use.Travel regularly and present at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and training sessions. Engage directly with the developer community through these events and various educational channels.Actively participate in both online and offline developer communities, leading technical discussions and fostering meaningful interactions on forums, social media, and other platforms.Create engaging content via tutorials, documentation, and webinars to engage and educate developers.Provide technical support to grant applicants through screening, launch, and growth stages, offering recommendations as neededCollaborate and share developer feedback with other Concordium team members to improve ConcordiumRequirementsOur preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:2-3 years of software engineering experience in one of the following languages: Rust, Java, PythonA Computer Science degree, or equivalent subjectsA natural extrovert who enjoys public speaking, being in the spotlight, and engaging with large audiences. Comfortable leading technical discussions and simplifying complex ideas.Willingness to Travel - This role involves extensive global travel (up to 30% of the time), requiring flexibility, technical adaptability, and enthusiasm for being on the road.Ability to lead and manage Developer Relations projects, including content initiatives and strategies to effectively educate the developer communityGood presentation and education skills to convey complex technical ideas to both developers and non-technical audiences, and craft educational/training content.Data-driven decisions – eager to experiment with new ways to help our developers learn our products faster.Experience working with blockchain is not essential, but a demonstrated curiosity about the technology and its impact is critical.Fluency in spoken and written English
