We're ideally seeking local Scottsdale/Phoenix metro-based talent to occasionally collaborate in person, but we're also open to fully remote candidates working on PST or MST time zones.Why Join Us?Be a part of a rapidly growing startup where your work has a direct impact.Work with a passionate team that values innovation, collaboration, and efficiency.Enjoy flexibility in a remote-first environment, with the potential for occasional in-person meetups.What You’ll Do:Design & Development: Create robust backend services, including data persistence layers, with a focus on secure, scalable accessibility through APIs.Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards for service quality, with a focus on availability, security, performance, and maintainability.Collaboration: Work closely with mobile engineers to enhance mobile and automation functionalities via API development.Architecture & Integration: Lead the team’s application logic, REST API design, and deployment strategies, particularly on AWS, to support a rapidly growing user base.What We’re Looking For:5+ years of experience in backend development, with proven experience designing scalable distributed systems.Expertise in Python and/or one additional backend language (Go, Node.js), along with frameworks like FastAPI or Django REST Framework.Strong background with CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitHub), and Agile methodologies.Deep understanding of HTTP/S, REST, JSON, and experience with database technologies such as Postgres and MongoDB.Ability to optimize SQL queries in raw SQL as well as through ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Must-Haves:Ability to work in the PST or MST timezone.Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Join us in building something extraordinary.
