We are currently seeking an experienced Smallworld Developer/Consultant to design, develop, test, maintain, and document program code on exciting long-term global projects. Work location is remote anywhere in North America!
You will be experienced in Smallworld core 5.x or minimum 4.x full software development life cycle and will have been involved in a Smallworld development.

Essential Skills and Experience:
7-10 years of programming experience in GE Smallworld GIS product suitesGE Smallworld EO/GDO Development Experience in Magik Code ProgrammingExperience writing and maintaining custom (Magik) program code to meet system requirements, system designs, and technical specificationsExperience with Smallworld Core 5.x or minimum 4.xSoftware development skills for requirements analysis, design, and supportUnderstanding Spatial Data ModellingTelecommunications experience including PNIExperience implementing Kubernetes and DockerExperience implementing Swift ArchitectureExperience building custom GIS ApplicationsStrong experience with Querying, Reporting, and Extraction of Spatial DataStrong Admin/DBA experienceExperience with testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols and quality standardsData Migration experienceInterface/Integration ExpertiseSafe FME Expertise including SBS FME PluginExpertise in Datamart and Data ModellingHighly motivated and able to work under pressureSuperior organization skills and the ability to work in a team environment and as an independent consultantExpertise working in Agile EnvironmentExperience in utility industry desirableDegree in Spatial Sciences, Geomatics, Computer Science, or Engineering
