PHP Developer £55,000 - £60,000 per annum + remote working & benefitsFarnborough, Hampshire - Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote) An experienced PHP Developer is required to join a busy and growing development team located in Farnborough, Hampshire who are offering hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote. The PHP Developer will be responsible for the ongoing development of the companies core enterprise SaaS product with opportunities to move onto their new 2.0 product that is currently being prototyped. As a PHP Developer you will be working in an agile development team delivering Object Orientated PHP code for a market leading SaaS provider. The successful PHP Developer will be working on a heavyweight back-end focused applications so proven commercial experience working with complex software products is essential. The successful PHP Developer will need to be within a commutable distance of Farnborough and have the following technical experience.Essential SkillsOOP/PHP Backend heaveyweight software applciation experienceMySQL/MariaDBPHP framework experience - Yii desirable or other MVC framework is acceptableUnit testingKnowledge of AWS cloud services JiraExcellent written and oral communication skills.Desirable SkillsAWSJavaScript/jQueryDevOps experience - CI/CD, Docker SOAP/REST APIJavaScriptThis role would suit a PHP developer who enjoys working with complex back-end PHP applications in an exciting industry with a real opportunity to learn new technologies with the upcoming greenfield projects.
