We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Developer Relations Engineer with a strong technical background and willingness to travel to join Concordium. This is an opportunity to work in a small, collaborative team and have independence while working on fascinating cross-disciplinary problems in crypto engineering.As a part of the team, you will get the opportunity to work on technologies with ramifications that could match the influence of the internet's development. It's important to incorporate diverse perspectives from conception through realization. This role requires 50% engineering and 50% training/education. Responsibilities include teaching and developing dApps on the latest Concordium releases while traveling around the world.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop dApps, examples, and demos to showcase Concordium's capabilities for community use.Create engaging content for developers via tutorials, documentation, and webinars.Directly engage with the developer community through events and education channels. Actively participate in online and offline forums, and foster the Concordium developer forum.Community Support—Enhance the developer experience with Concordium via channels like Discord, Telegram, video conferences, Stack Overflow, and moreDevelop technical content to simplify dApp development on ConcordiumScreen grant applications for technical fit and support applicants through screening, launch, and growth stages, offering recommendations as neededCollaborate and share developer feedback with other Concordium team members to improve Concordium.
RequirementsOur preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:2-3 years of software engineering experience in one of the following languages: Rust, Java, PythonA Computer Science degree, or equivalent, 2+ years of development experience.Ability to lead and manage Developer Relations projects, including content initiatives and strategies to effectively educate the developer communityGood presentation and education skills to convey complex technical ideas to both developers and non-technical audiences, and craft educational/training content.Data-driven decisions – eager to experiment with new ways to help our developers learn our products faster.Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.Experience working with blockchain is not essential, but a demonstrated curiosity about the technology and its impact is critical.Fluency in spoken and written English
