Shopify Developer - Full Stack ( Contractual )

This is a full time contractual position of 3 months, Shift timing will be 8hours per day Mon- Friday

OverviewCodup seeking a talented and skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in building and maintaining high-performance Shopify stores, working with Liquid, and handling both frontend and full-stack development. Expertise in JavaScript, modern frameworks, and Shopify app development is essential. Experience with Big Commerce integration, and Hydrogen is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are key to success in this role.

Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Shopify stores, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Implement custom features and functionalities using Liquid, Shopify's templating language.Work on both frontend and full-stack development tasks as required.Collaborate with the design team to translate visual designs into functional websites.Develop Shopify apps and custom integrations.Utilize JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks to enhance user experience.Ensure the scalability and extensibility of Shopify stores.Implement Hydrogen for dynamic e-commerce experiences (good to have).Integrate with third-party systems and APIs like ERPs, 3PL, CRM, etc.Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring seamless user experiences.

Education/Qualification RequirementBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or in a similar role.Proficient in Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.Strong expertise in frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.Full-stack development experience is highly desirable.Proficiency in Java for backend development.Experience with Shopify app development is a big plus.Experience working with major 3rd party apps Klayvio, Yotpo, Shogun, Rebuy, and others.Knowledge of Big Commerce and its integration with Shopify is a significant advantage.Familiarity with Hydrogen is a bonus.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
