WHO YOU AREYou’re a Mobile App Developer with specific experience building Android applications.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop and maintain robust and scalable web and mobile applications using both React Native and Kotlin.Work with AWS services such as Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, and CognitoCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutionsLead and contribute to the establishment of coding patterns and best practicesEnforce coding standards and perform thorough code reviews during pull requestsMentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and developmentStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the React Native and Kotlin communitiesTroubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTSMust haveBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a focus on Native Application developmentStrong proficiency in React Native and Kotlin2+ years of experience working with AWS Amplify or another GraphQL implementationSolid understanding of modern software development principles, methodologies, and toolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team membersPrior experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developersAbility to thrive in a fully remote work environment and effectively manage time and tasksInterested candidates should submit a cover letter stating their favorite game along with their resumePreferred Skills:Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of TypeScript or other strongly typed languagesContributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the developer community
