Company DescriptionMealMate Inc. is a startup that makes diet tracking easy so people can eat more healthy and live their lives to the fullest! Our platform allows researchers to more easily collect diet records from their study participants. We are currently finishing our MVP so we can begin beta testing. MealMate has been awarded an NSF SBIR Phase I grant and has an exclusive license for an MIT patent.

Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote role for a Frontend Developer at MealMate Inc. for equity only. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for implementing the remaining features of our iOS mobile application in SwiftUI and collaborating with backend developers and designers to improve the user experience.

QualificationsFront-End Development in SwiftUI or React NativeKnowledge of UI/UX design principlesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team settingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field(Optional) Experience developing Flask Python web apps(Optional) Expertise in AI, NLP, or LLMs
