A growing consultancy is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer (Senior Developer) to join their Engineering team and champion their technical Salesforce roadmap as well as optimize their integrations with various systems including NetSuite.

This role requires a high degree of proficiency and knowledge of best Salesforce development practices as well as strong communication skills to partner with business stakeholders and align the technical roadmap with business needs and growth.

As a Sr. Application Engineer, you will use your technical expertise to solve challenges to better the efficiency of the Business System team and sales organizations alike. This role will be very cross-functional and have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across sales, finance, legal, product engineering, systems, analytics and operations!

What You’ll Do:Working as a bridge between Go-To-Market and engineering teams, you will use customer input and sales information to design, develop, test and implement complex software programs and applicationsTechnically support and provide expertise to internal and external customersCoordinating with internal customers to design and provide new features and enhancements to achieve business goalsAdministering engineering activities of projects from conceptualization to implementationMonitoring existing systems and recommending improvements by integrating new technologies

What You’ll Bring:5+ years of engineering / application development experienceExpertise in all facets of Apex development and knowledge of integration best practices 2+ years supporting business critical applications (Salesforce, Netsuite, or equivalents).Salesforce Development RequiredProven experience successfully delivering projects in Object Oriented Languages (Java, Python or similar)Experience building or maintaining applications interacting with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar)Demonstrated project management abilities providing estimates, delivering software, testing, and managing timelines and dependenciesStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work with both technical and nontechnical groups alikeIs an adaptable team player who can juggle, manage and navigate multiple prioritiesExperience in operations and monitoring of production systems a strong plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively
