Description

The software developer role is an integral team member who will be contributing to the Operations and Maintenance of mission critical work in an agile environment. This role will participate in a range of activities including requirements collection and analysis, software design, implementation, debugging, as well as enhancing existing catalog of applications. Prior experience leading and mentoring team members in enterprise-level software development efforts is a key requirement for this position. Candidates in this position will support software development activities across various custom applications.

Primary Responsibilities/Experience Required

Proficiency in coding languages and technologies, e.g., .Net, C#, Java 8.x, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Oracle DB, NodeJS 12.x, AngularExperience programming with serverless computing technologies, e.g., AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, Cloud Formation, S3Understanding of Agile and Scrum fundamentalsA strong desire to understand complex systems and how to troubleshoot and make them highly availablePossess a collaborative spirit that enjoys working within a team environment, building solutions in an Agile fashion

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fieldA minimum of 7 years of experience demonstrating a track record of success in software development for sophisticated applications in large-scale production environments.A thorough understanding of the ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core architecture with C#.NET as well as demonstrated experience with tools such as Oracle, SQL, REST API, Entity Framework, and JavaScript

Desired Skills & Qualifications

CI/CD concepts and tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.), deployment pipelines, automated builds, and configuration toolsExperience with AWS-related technologiesProven experience in a leadership position where successful guidance and direction was provided to team membersStrong communication abilities, with proficiency in articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally.Self-directed with a proven ability to take the initiative and drive tasks to completion without the need for continual guidance.Adaptable and agile, with a demonstrated ability to transition smoothly between projects, maintaining high productivity and responsiveness to changing business needs.Experience working with or supporting multiple applications within a portfolio.
