Expert Node.js Developer

Ciklum is looking for a Expert Node.js Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:As a Expert Node.js Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.We are looking for a software engineer with a positive spirit for our team. Who is able to work on cross-product features and enhance product resources. You will play a key role in leading our product compliance efforts, developing core solutions and building new services from scratch.Apply new technology and bring innovation to the team’s development. Our ideal candidate is a team player with strong hands-on backend experience and ownership of a feature, from one end to another.The client is a venture-backed enterprise security company focused on helping organizations better protect and manage personal data privacy: customers, employees, or clients. The company is geographically distributed, developing in Israel and operations in the US and Europe.The company provides enterprise software for managing and protecting customer and employee data in the data center or cloud. Our PII protection and privacy technology combines machine learning and identity intelligence to help organizations secure personal data and meet new privacy regulations like GDPR. The software automates PII discovery, inventory by data subject, data flow mapping, risk analysis, and privacy compliance.The technology helps find, map, and de-risk personal data against loss and misuse. Security applications include enhanced breach prevention, detection, and response.Privacy applications include automating data subject right requirements, data mapping, privacy impact assessment, data residency and retention, cross-border tracking, and entity resolution.

Responsibilities:Be a valuable team member and function as a subject matter expert in technical areas and product componentsDesign logical solutions to complex challenges for our customers and internal developersWrite high-quality code, covered by solid unit and integration testsDrive technological and architectural decisionsReview the design and code for other team members

Requirements:At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Backend development: Node.js with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex software solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDeep understanding of REST APIs, Databases, message queues, multi-tenancy and scalable computingExperience with microservices (preferably in Kubernetes environments)Knowledge in cloud technologies AWSExperience in Agile developmentA can-do-attitudeBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

Desirable:Java and Spring knowledgeFull stack capabilitiesFamiliarity with SDK and shared client practices
