We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to create, code, perform O & M and implement SharePoint applications.

Your responsibilities will involve developing software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, performing software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.

Our ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the SharePoint platform, and proficiency in using the .NET framework and client-side technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.

Ultimately, the role of the SharePoint Developer is to build and maintain high-quality, efficient and user-friendly SharePoint applications that meet our users’ needs and comply with coding standards and technical design.

ResponsibilitiesRecommend and implement Best Practices for SharePoint developmentWork with BA/PM to address customer concerns, questions and opportunities for improvementCollaborate with Federal counterparts on solutioning for customersSuccessfully work in Agile environment performing development as well as Peer Review (two-weeks sprints)Design, develop and maintain key components of customer SharePoint & Teams sitesAddress and remediate incidents and tasks from customersImplement and maintain SharePoint-based workflowsWork with the team to design and develop custom SharePoint solutionsIntegrate SharePoint with other existing systemsDocument and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.Maintain product quality by carrying out reviews, performing ongoing refactoring of code, and implementing any necessary fixes or enhancementsEnsure all solutions are properly tested and meet user requirements

QualificationsProven work experience as a SharePoint DeveloperExperience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creationUnderstanding of UI/UXExperience with .NET languages (C#, VB .NET)Proven testing and debugging capabilitiesExperience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQueryDatabase and documentation expertiseCloud technology experience, i.e. Yammer, MS Flow, MS PlannerBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
