Web Developer

Schedule: Full-timeMon - Fri 9am - 6pm UK Time (4:00 PM to 1:00 AM PHT) with 1 hour lunch break

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript, including backend express services and React clients.Liaise with Product Strategy and Product Team leadership to understand Roadmap priorities, provide guidance on the best technical solution for initiatives and optimal team resources to align against said initiativesCollaborate across team members to produce loosely coupled, highly maintainable backend systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, iterate functionality, and contribute to the overall success of the product.Plan, estimate, and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment.

Requirements3+ years’ experience in full stack web developmentProficient in Node.js, javascript, and typescript technologies.Proficient building React web applicationsProficient in both relational databases and NoSQL (MongoDB/PostgresSQL)Familiar with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached)Experience building REST servicesExperience with GraphQL servicesFamiliarity with React storybook / component driven developmentStrong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications (Preferred)

5+ years’ experience in full stack web development.Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns.Understanding of asynchronous operations.Experience building microservice architecture at scale.Experience working with agile development methodologies.
