Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging algorithms for supply chain planningWrite well-designed, scalable, and testable code with unit tests and integration testsMaintain and develop scalable supply chain planning algorithmsMaintain and develop data model to support supply chain planning dataCollaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugsAnalyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutionsTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systemsKeep on top of new technologies and algorithmsInteract with BA's, QA's and other peers to clarify business requirementsEngage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planningSupport demo development activitiesProvide training and support to internal teams
Requirements:
BS/MS/PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics or a related field; Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research educational backgrounds will be applicable as well with appropriate experience5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE applications in the development of enterprise software systems. C++ experience a plusProficiency in PostgreSQL and other DBMsExperience in parallel programming, distributed algorithms, distributed resource management systemsAbility to understand business and supply chain needs and leverage them to effectively design product solutions to drive business valueStrong math skills (e.g., statistics, algebra)Understanding of the software development life cycle, including capturing product requirements, review of functional specifications, development of solutions, developing test plans, testing, user training, and deploymentExperience working in Linux environments with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate, Argo) and major cloud services(AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience in retail, CPG, e-commerce, or supply chain would be considered an asset
