Role Overview:
Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? We are looking for a talented APEX-PL/SQL Developer to join our Oracle Payments Product Development team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable solutions that enhance our payment offerings and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.
As a key player in our fast-paced, action-oriented team, you'll work with a mix of technologies to build new features and improve existing functionalities. You'll have the opportunity to lead development efforts, mentor peers, and contribute to groundbreaking projects in a collaborative Agile environment.
What You'll Do:
Innovate with APEX & PL/SQL: Utilize your expertise in Oracle Application Express (APEX) and PL/SQL to develop robust, scalable solutions that interact with diverse data sources and handle large volumes of data.
Build Cutting-Edge Solutions: Work on data modeling, ETL system development, and the integration of various technologies including Big Data, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Enhance User Experience: Collaborate with a dynamic team of software engineers, test automation experts, product managers, and UX designers to deliver impactful features and enhancements.
Lead & Mentor: Take a leadership role within the team, mentoring others and guiding development efforts to ensure project success.
Optimize Performance: Implement load balancing, security measures, and performance optimizations to ensure our applications are fast, reliable, and secure.
Embrace Agile Methodologies: Work in an Agile environment, using iterative development practices to deliver value quickly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in APEX and PL/SQL is essential. Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like OJET is a plus.
Backend Development: Experience with RESTful web services, JSON, and integrating UI elements with server-side logic.
Cloud & Big Data: Familiarity with AWS, cloud-based development, and Big Data platforms. Knowledge of machine learning is a bonus.
Database Skills: Strong background in Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, and data modeling.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, debug complex applications, and balance multiple development tasks.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a positive attitude and a drive to lead and collaborate with a global team.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and languages, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 - $223,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
