About the role and what we expect from you

Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective backend solutions;Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to ensure project goals are met on time;Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices;Implement and maintain database schemas, queries, and performance optimizations in PostgreSQL;Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git;Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards;Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic;Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share best practices;Follow a continuous everything approach (continuous development, integration, testing and deployment);Write unit tests;Document the APIs using Swagger.

Your skills and preferred qualification

5+ years of professional experience in software development;2+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. (or any other relational database);Experience with NodeJS frameworks (NestJS is a plus);Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams;Proven experience Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;Experience working in a medium-sized team;Good understanding and experience with relational databases (optional: PostgreSQL);Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices;Good understanding of HTTP protocol;Experience writing APIs;Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices;Excellent analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills;Experience with unit testing frameworks;Excellent written and spoken English;University graduate – availability for work full-time program;Good analytical and problem-solving skills;Ability to meet tight deadlines;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to take initiative and autonomously handle tasks;Ability to work independently and as a team;Accuracy and attention to detail.
