What you will be doing: This is a full-time, fully remote role position. As a Senior Java Developer, you will engage in various projects, working closely with other departments within Fresche to deliver development and meet project deliverables. You'll follow our established methodologies while adhering to industry standards and best practices, ensuring all projects maintain our 100% customer reference ability. Your role includes managing client expectations, participating in the development, and maintaining performance metrics to assess project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute projects using proven Software Development Life Cycle processes, procedures, and tools to include planning, coordinating all project activities, project status meetings, system specifications design and review, technical review, system testing, system implementation, post implementation review. Works with the business unit on long term strategies to better use technology and to promote / champion process improvement initiatives. Work with software development to review / understand requirements and specifications for technical design, obtain information on system capabilities, limitations, and performance requirements. Delivering a relevant technical solution based on best practice / experience / similar projects. Develop skills and competence on our products/projects in terms of technical design, architecture and troubleshoot.

About you:

You must be a graduate or post-graduate with 7 - 12 years of field experience. Must have strong client facing experience. Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management.

The candidate should possess expertise in the following technical stack: Java 8 (and above) Spring Boot ReactJs Strong knowledge and experience in Microservices architecture. Experience in building Restful backend services using Spring Boot. Strong experience in messaging software such as Kafka, RabbitMQ. Working Experience with caching technologies such as Redis and MemCache. Experience in Relational / NoSQL Database Management Systems such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB. Strong knowledge on GIT and SonarQube. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and related software technologies (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA etc.) and the Atlassian stack. Deep knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Refactoring, and Unit Testing. Exposure to Application servers Apache, Tomcat is preferred. Ability to work independently when required, with a strong team approach.

Nice to Haves:

Work Experience with Linux OS, preferably RedHat. Motivated, self-starter, problem solver with the ability to work independently. Experience training, coaching, and mentoring developers. Exposure to Security concepts PKI, SSO, SAML
