Expert Go Developer

Ciklum is looking for an Expert Go Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.About the role:As an Expert Go Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team building a multi-agent AI system, trained with comprehensive threat intelligence, that performs automated triage and suggests responses across all your systems with full context on the intricacies of your business and preferences.

Responsibilities:Lead the development process, including reviewing requirements, planning, and identifying potential issuesProactively engage in the design of technical solutions and implement complex backend features from start to finish, ensuring alignment with strategic business goalsDrive and participate in multiple aspects of the SDLC, including planning, development, testing, and deploymentPerform comprehensive code reviews to ensure high code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing within the teamCommunicate with the team and client to clarify requirements and share the outcomesEstablish and refine the team's engineering and quality standards, and ensure team members adhere to these standardsEngage in the technical interviewing process

We would still love to hear from you if you think you’re a good fit!Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring engineering teamsSoftware Design:Comprehensive understanding of paradigms, principles, and methodologies such as SOLID, GRASP, TDD, and DDDStrong foundation in designing solutions that adhere to development standards focused on scalability and performanceSoftware development:Extensive proficiency in Go and knowledge of essential third-party libraries and toolsDeep understanding of Go's core internals, memory management, and concurrency mechanismsCommercial experience working with Python is a big plusThorough understanding of both RDBMS and NoSQL databases, skilled in developing high-performance queries, performing optimizations, and structuring databasesExtensive experience with both monolithic and distributed architectures (e.g., microservices, SOA), including their methodologies and best practicesAdvanced experience in utilizing communication protocols and tools (e.g., message brokers, HTTP, WebSockets)Experience in deploying and managing applications within cloud environment on AWSQuality Assurance:High proficiency with widely used testing frameworks and toolsExperience in continuously improving project quality by establishing a code review process, setting quality metrics, actively monitoring them, and defining and maintaining a testing strategy (tools, types, metrics)Software Deployment:Proficiency in container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)Practical experience with software deployment and configuration in cloud environments (including pipelines and deployment patterns)

Desirable:Demonstrated proficiency in web scraping techniques to efficiently extract and process large-scale datasets from diverse online sourcesCommercial experience working with LLMs, particularly in data ingestion and preparation
