Senior JavaScript (Node.js) Developer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript (Node.js) Developer to join our team full-time in Slovakia.We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role:As a Senior JavaScript (Node.js) Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team working on the Fintech solution for a German customer.You will join a highly motivated team and work on a modern solution for our existing client. We are looking for technology experts who want to make an impact on the new business by applying best practices and taking ownership.The Card Service team of 4 developers and testers is located across Czechia and Slovakia, with the main office in Prague.

Responsibilities:Write and maintain applications utilizing credit card APIsDevelop solutions using NodeJS, AWS Lambda, and DockerLambda functions are built with the Serverless FrameworkDocker applications use either Fastify or Express.jsManage and maintain infrastructure on AWSInfrastructure as code written in CloudFormationA gradual transition towards using AWS CDKEnsure compliance with PCI DSS standards through annual assessmentsCollaborate with clients to understand requirements and break them down into individual stories for developmentFollow code quality standards

Requirements:Design patterns, development principlesJavaScript/TypeScript. Performance, securityNodeJS ExpressJS/NestJS, Database design, microservicesTesting. Approaches, types, toolingCI/CDGitAgile. Principles and processesUpper-Intermediate English
