Web Developer .net – role can be adopted remotely within the UK £38,000 to £44,000 plus exceptional benefits

We are working with our Liverpool based client, an organisation of international repute with a unique user base of over 30,000. They are looking to a .net developer to join a team building key web-based applications, API’s and associated tech solutions.

Development of their bespoke web applications predominantly takes place using .NET MVC, but other programming languages are used when appropriate. MS SQL is used as the primary database technology with IIS as the primary web server technology. Other technologies are used as and when required. REST Web services are used for all web and mobile development. Developers engage in both front and back-end system development. You would initially be working on a key project central to their business.

The role includes engaging with stakeholders and so excellent communication skills are required.

The role can be adopted remotely but there is a requirement to be onsite a minimum of once a quarter (more if you choose). You MUST be resident in the UK.

Skills and experience required:Excellent C# MVC .NET skills and demonstrable experienceKnowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (accessibility, usability and W3C DOM)Ideally, but not essential, it would be good if you have knowledge and experience of HTML 5 / CSS3 / JavaScript, Knowledge and experience of JQuery, Bootstrap, Github, Angular.JS, Chrome DevTools, Knowledge and experience writing RESTful Web services would also be beneficialA minimum of 2 years relevant commercial experience is required
