The Senior Application Developer position assists in developing a modern business-to-business bet processing system to replace the existing system. This role uses C# and .Net Core to build business relevant services. This position builds microservice applications within a Docker/Kubernetes cloud environment. The Senior Application Developer position partners closely with Architecture and Product in crafting great product experiences.

Uses C# and .Net Core to satisfy business needsApplies solid principles when implementing solutionsPractices test-driven development and writes industry-standard unit testsBuilds microservice applications within a Docker/Kubernetes environmentWorks with cross-functional teams to assist with integrationPartners closely with design and product to craft great product experiencesTakes full ownership of a feature from conception to launchParticipates in peer code reviews and Agile development activitiesWorks closely with QA to ensure product qualityChampions for Agile development, continue deployment and integration, elegant design and teamworkProvides guidance and mentorship to other Application Developer positions

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or additional relevant work experience in lieu of degreeMinimum of five (5) years of experience in C# software developmentMinimum of five (5) years of experience working in service oriented or microservice development using C# or .Net CoreExperience writing unit tests utilizing Microsoft Test frameworks and practicing test driven developmentExperience working with SQL databases (like Postgres) and high speed data storesStrong working understanding of GitProven understanding of microservice architectureStrong debugging and problem solving skills both individually and within a teamExcellent communication, collaboration and interaction skills within a team environmentPreferred Experience and/or Education: Experience teaching/mentoring junior team members; Wagering/Gaming experience.Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity and benefits
