Junior Frontend Developer

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in front-end development principles and at least 3 years of hands-on experience building responsive and user-friendly web applications. We mostly are building our front-end on top of a Ruby on Rails backend so while we expect you to be a front-end expert, a good understanding of how Rails applications work will be beneficial for seamless collaboration.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applicationsCollaborate with designers, back-end (Rails) developers, and other team members to create exceptional user experiencesWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeStay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trendsParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

What We Expect: Commercial software development experience of 3+ years, though recent grads with the right attitude and background should also applyProven JavaScript/TypeScript proficiencySolid HTML & CSS skillsExperience with Angular, React, Nextjs and more.Brief experience working with Ruby on rails (or willing to learn fast)Proven understanding of UI and UX design principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of our teamA strong self-starter, able to hit the ground runningExcellent time-management skills

Bonus Points: Excellent English communication SkillsAccess to stable internet connection and a decent laptop.Job is 100% remote but we may require you to come to the office once in a while.
