We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with expertise in C++ to join our API development team focused on advancing workforce management solutions.
In this role, you will be tasked with designing and implementing new APIs using Node.js, interfacing with C++ servers, and transitioning the infrastructure from cloud-based to on-premises. You'll also be responsible for integrating OAuth 2.0 with SAML/SSO for secure user authentication. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of an Angular-based UX to ensure smooth integration during installation. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include preparing the Advanced Outreach solution for deployment on the AWS Marketplace, ensuring full compliance with marketplace standards, and optimizing it for effective cloud deployment.
Responsibilities:Lead API review, development, and creation of new APIs on Node.js.Oversee API migration and ensure seamless integration.Lead efforts in integrating and optimizing API connections to C++ servers.Implement OAuth 2.0 with SAML/SSO for secure authentication.Prepare Advanced Outreach for AWS Marketplace deployment.Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards.Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues.Work with the team in supporting the development and refinement of the Angular-based UX to ensure seamless integration during the installation process.Carry out other duties as may be reasonably required by the job.
QualificationsOver 4 years of experience in Node.js architecture and event-driven server-side programming.Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.Proficiency in asynchronous programming and handling callbacks, promises, and async/await.Experience in performance optimization.3+ years of experience with C++ for performance-critical components.Experience in integrating C++ modules with Node.js using add-ons (e.g., NAN or N-API).Understanding of memory management and multithreading in C++.2+ years of experience with OAuth 2.0 authorization framework.Experience in implementing OAuth for secure API authentication and authorization.Understanding of various grant types (e.g., authorization code, client credentials) and scopes.Knowledge of related identity protocols such as SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) and OIDC (OpenID Connect) for comprehensive identity management.Knowledge of Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols.Experience in configuring and managing SSL/TLS certificates.Understand securing APIs using HTTPS and best practices for encryption.Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.Understanding of REST principles and best practices.Experience with API versioning, documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI), and testing.
