The Novel Factory helps novel writers learn their craft and become better, more efficientauthors. It was created by award-winning author Katja Kaine, who wanted an intuitive andelegant app to support her in building her writing career. Key responsibilities will include:• Supporting and troubleshooting existing application software• Development of new features to existing application software
• Communicating with first line support regarding software bugs and features• Ad-hoc technical support for internal systems, software and websitesThe individual will be required to master the Novel Factory software in order to provide the bestsupport and to be proactive in understanding the code architecture of the software. Theindividual will be expected to work on production code in a safe way and make changes withoutintroducing new bugs and issues.
Role requirements• Familiarity with c#, .net, Entity Framework, Blazor Web Assembly, JavaScript, Sass,Css, SQL Server, SQLite• Strong coding skills and the ability to Test, Code, and Refactor both new and existingcode to a high standard• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and Continuous Delivery• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal• Proactive in approach, with an interest in personal and professional development• Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload• Attention to detailYou will be excited to join a small business with and the freedom, loyalty, flexibility andopportunities it offers.
