The Data Platform Team is seeking a Senior Reports Developer with expertise in Tableau to create highly interactive and customizable reports for large datasets. This role involves blending data to build powerful dashboards, implementing action filters, parameters, and calculations. Responsibilities also include administering Tableau, managing user access, roles, and groups, and providing production support. Responsibilities:Collaborate with Product Team and business leaders to analyze, design, document, and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards).Develop reporting strategies and build customized reports and dashboards for interpreting and predicting patterns and trends in media and operations.Conceptualize and produce reporting solutions to enhance efficiencies across analyst teams.Champion dashboard quality, consistency, usability, and reliability by applying best practices to design and development.Communicate project status updates and recommendations.Define, execute, and interpret SQL queries.Establish standards and best practices for requesting, prioritizing, and developing dashboards.Collaborate with technical staff and end users to troubleshoot platform issues and develop solutions.Interface Tableau Dashboard with external portals and applications.Monitor and maintain Tableau Server Deployment.Develop, test, and implement system changes, upgrades, and patches.Plan, design, and execute performance tests of platforms. Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets.Minimum of 5 years of advanced Tableau development experience on Desktop and Server.Strong understanding of appropriate chart types (Bar charts, Line charts, scatter plots, Heat Maps) to highlight patterns in the data.Expert knowledge of Tableau software optimization and configuration.Knowledge of Databricks and data lake concepts.Strong understanding of data prep and design.Experience with Alteryx/Tableau Prep-style tools.Strong technical understanding of SQL and relational databases, along with relevant data literacy experience.Tableau administration experience. Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Power BI experience a plus.Required Education:BA/BS, preferably in Computer Science or Mathematics. Additional Information:2-3 rounds of interviews will take place.Minimum 3 years of experience.This individual will be the team Tableau guru.Will develop reports and visualizations.Datalake experience or Databricks.Need someone to help administer the server, accommodating patches and potential risks.
