Job Title: ServiceNow DeveloperLocation: Virginia/RemoteDuration: Long term

Description:Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies.Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns as well as understanding of various coding methods and computer languages.Data modeling and database design experience.Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and service oriented architecture (SOA).Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.Responsible for project completion.Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.Ideally requires a bachelors degree, or demonstrated architectural experience in the area of specialilzation.Experience communicating with key executives in a concise yet analytical manner.Evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement.Oversee architectural approaches from conception to installation.

List of tasks to be performed:Technical Lead/Architect or developer(s) experienced in ServiceNow software development with the following skills.SME in one or more of the following areas:ServiceNow Application DevelopmentServiceNow Platform and Architecture KnowledgeProficient in the following qualifications:Experience with ServiceNow development with knowledge of code best practicesKnowledge/experience with functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow platform and architectureEffective liaison leading technical development teamsKnowledge/experience of SDLC practicesStrong facilitation skills to effectively lead discussions across multiple groupsOral and written communication skills including presenting to managementKnowledge/experience with Agile MethodologiesChange Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc)Problem/Risk ManagementMS Office Suite

Education Requirements:A minimum of thirteen (13) to twenty (20) years relevant experienceA degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.

Additional Provisions:Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.Once candidates resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening.Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process.If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance.All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card) or H1B.Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
