Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing core front-end technologies that form the foundation of our AI cloud product. You will work closely between our engineering, research, and design teams to quickly build and iterate on key front-end components and tools that help accelerate the team to interact and improve our core AI technology.

You will demonstrate a deep understanding of advanced frontend technologies, and bring both high-quality engineering and creativity to quickly leverage modern libraries and frameworks with our proprietary AI technologies.

You can drive and deliver projects independently. You thrive in ambiguity and a fast changing environment, and are excited to work with advanced AI algorithms and not afraid to learn new skills or technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and quickly iterate on a high quality front-end for our AI platformTake ownership of development and maintenance of Archetype AI front-end tools and componentsDesign and develop front-end tools that help accelerate our team’s overall velocityTake a proactive approach in tool generation and developmentDrive forward the development of a stable and secure production codebaseCollaborate with other engineers, researchers, and designers on final implementation and polish

RequirementsExperience working with real-time multimedia, including video/audio streamingExperience building prototypes using modern AI techniques, from computer vision to LLMsExperience developing real-time front-end prototypes for sensors or similar real-time data sources (e.g. cameras, depth sensors, radar, inertial sensors, …)Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, R&D labs, or production teamsWork alongside UI/UX designers to understand creative concepts and translate them into complete interaction models. Experience using UX prototyping tools (Figma)Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous remote team environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience as a front-end developer, or UX engineer. 3-5 years of experience developing software applications.Portfolio or work samples that demonstrate the ability to carry a project from start to finish. Understanding and fluent usage across a broad spectrum of technologies including (but not limited to): Vanilla JS, NodeJS, Svelte, SASS/CSS, Python and Responsive/Adaptive Design. Experience working with modern web libraries (ex: for responsive layout management, real-time graphing, multimedia streaming, cloud data integration)Experience implementing web integrations and APIsStrong knowledge of web design principles, UI/UX, and responsive design
