Django Developer

We at Acorn Globus are seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to join our dynamic team in a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Django development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of complex Python-based applications using Django framework- Manage projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment- Contribute independently to codebase while overseeing team contributions- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including US-based colleagues- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Python development

Requirements:- 5+ years of experience working with Django and Python- Proven track record of leading successful Python projects- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting- Strong independent contributor with self-motivation and discipline- Experience in project management and team mentoring- Comfortable with having overlaps with US team hours

Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with React for front-end development- Familiarity with GoLang- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)- Experience with agile methodologies
