This role demands hands-on experience with a range of technologies and tools to create, enhance, and maintain Alexa-based applications.Key Responsibilities:Amazon Alexa Development: Design, develop, and deploy Alexa skills, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.System Integration: Integrate Alexa skills with third-party APIs, databases, and other systems, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.Software Development: Utilize modern programming languages, particularly Python, C++, and Java, to build robust and scalable solutions.Tool Utilization: Leverage tools such as OpenSearch, Kafka, SPLUNK, Glue, PySpark, EMR, Lambda, and DynamoDB to manage data, logging, and other backend operations.Code and System Maintenance: Regularly update and optimize existing Alexa skills and related systems to enhance performance and functionality.Requirements:Experience: A minimum of 8 years in software development, with proven experience in Amazon Alexa.Technical Expertise:Hands-on experience with OpenSearch, Kafka, SPLUNK, Glue, PySpark, EMR, Lambda, DynamoDB.Proficiency in coding with Python, C++, Java, or other modern programming languages.Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in deploying and managing Alexa skills in a production environment.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and their services related to Alexa development.
