Responsibilities
Hexagon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to work on our PAS PlantState Integrity team. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and documenting highly scalable solutions based on requirements. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert on software products, and will be able to work well with both technical and non-technical team members. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and participate in various projects while working independently and operating with good communication and interpersonal skills.
This person will write and manage code, perform unit testing, and ensure the application can be deployed into the production environment for new and existing applications. The Senior Software Developer will apply proven problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices to produce and support robust solutions based on business requirements of mission-critical information and software systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 5+ years of hands-on software development experience. Strong ability to Object orientated design, code, and debug applications in C#.Net and .NET Core. Working knowledge of Database Design and SQL Language. Experience with Visual Studio / Azure DevOps / Git or similar version control system. Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) development process and working in a team environment. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multi-task and be a team player.
Preferred
Experience in developing industrial engineering application. Familiarity industrial control systems and standards. Experience with unit testing. Experience with Wix and Azure DevOps Pipelines
This role can sit fully remote within the United States (CST or EST time zone preferred).
