My client is a growing FinTech start-up, specializing in delivering advanced technology solutions to a range of industries, including financial services, blockchain/crypto, energy, and other enterprise-level clients. With a strong focus on innovation, they work on high-impact projects that push the boundaries of technology. Established in 2015, they have a team of 75 professionals across London, Portugal, and remote locations worldwide. This particular role centers on a large-scale trading systems development project for one of their key enterprise clients. The team currently consists of 9 developers and 5 QA engineers, and they are looking to scale up to take the platform to the next level.Role:

We are searching for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join this dynamic and growing team. As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be deeply involved in the development of innovative features for a high-impact trading platform. The role requires extensive front-end development initially, with a gradual transition to backend work as you become more familiar with the systems. You will be working with a highly skilled and dedicated team of developers, QA engineers, and PMs spread across different locations.This role has a strong preference for the candidate to be based in London to work a hybrid model, however, the client would be open to remote candidates within the UK. This role cannot provide sponsorship. Requirements:8+ years of experience as a developer.5+ years of experience with React and Node.js.3+ years of experience with TypeScript or Flow.Fintech, blockchain or trading experience is beneficialStart-up experience is highly valued.Exposure to enterprise-sized clients and large-scale projects.Experience with technologies such as TypeScript, Monorepo, GitHub, Jest, Playwright, React, Redis, SQL, WebSockets, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube.Familiarity with Haskell or OCaml is a plus, but not essential.Key Responsibilities:Focus initially on front-end development, transitioning to backend as you become comfortable with the systems and technologies.Collaborate with the team to develop new features for the trading platform, working to enhance the project and enable growth into other markets.Engage with a distributed team across London, Portugal, and globally, contributing to a high-impact project.Bring creativity and problem-solving skills to help the client meet their goals.Ability to innovate and help drive the growth of the trading platform into new markets.What's On Offer:Competitive salary up to 90k5 days per year allocated for training.£1,000 annual allowance for training (with up to 50% for workstation equipment).In-person team events/team-building every 3 months.Company equipment and onboarding kit.Annual bonus (dependent on company and personal performance).Stock option plan.Birthday off and a generous employee referral program.
