Job Description: Shopping Categories Flex FullStack Javascript Engineer

About the role:

Categories are a group of 5 teams focused on delivering customer-facing experiences for each targeted Price Comparison sector. Each of the team owns their own UI and backend systems. But they largely work with the same shared tool and tech stack. Leveraging that easy synergy, this contracting resource will be a flex engineer to pivot between the teams depending on group priorities to support a range of activities: Develop features for Shopping browser extension (React) and web (Remix) Develop features for NodeJS microservices and shared NPM modules used by teams Develop and maintain internal tools used by Categories PO and Ops Work within Shopping’s Email engine to create email templates for campaigns Support maintenance of data pipeline / ETLs

Basic Requirements:

6+years of Fullstack software development experience 6+ years of Javascript/Typescript experience in both both React and NodeJS 3+ years of recent React experience Working knowledge of Postgresql Be able to operate with high degree of independent ownership
