Job Scope:** Need an expert in SAM PRO Development, as no scope of training.

Required skills:-Design and DevelopmentConfiguration and Customization:Configure and customize the ServiceNow SAM module to meet specific business requirements.Develop custom applications and enhancements within the SAM module.Workflow Automation:Design and implement automated workflows for software asset management processes.Create business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and other scripting tools to automate tasks.Integration:Integrate ServiceNow SAM with other IT systems and third-party applications.Develop and maintain data integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, import sets, and data sources.Implementation and DeploymentImplementation Planning:Participate in planning and implementing the SAM module, including requirements gathering, solution design, and deployment strategies.Ensure proper alignment with overall IT asset management strategies and policies.System Upgrades and Patching:Plan and execute upgrades and patches for the SAM module, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Test new features and functionalities in a development environment before production deployment.Maintenance and SupportOngoing Maintenance:Maintain and support the SAM module, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.User Support and Training:Provide support to end-users and administrators for SAM-related queries and issues.Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation to educate users on SAM processes and functionalities.Compliance and ReportingLicense Management:Manage software licenses, including tracking, compliance, renewals, and optimization.Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of software assets and license entitlements.Audit and Compliance:Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements.Reporting and Analytics:Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into software usage, compliance, and optimization opportunities.Use data analytics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement in software asset management.Collaboration and CommunicationStakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with IT, procurement, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to align SAM activities with business objectives.Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth implementation and operation of the SAM module.Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software asset management and ServiceNow development.Continuously seek opportunities to improve SAM processes, workflows, and system configurations.

This is a contract, so FTEs can do this too.. on top of the current full time role.. if ok with 9 hours engagement per day in the US EST Timezone (i.e. 6:30 pm to 3:30 am IST ), 5 days per week for this contract.
