VB/C#.Net Developer

POSITION SUMMARY The VB/C#.Net Developer will develop and maintain a C#.Net Excel VSTO plugin and VB.Net com DLL project used as a codebase for multiple Excel spreadsheet applications. Strong Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, and Windows Form UI development skills are critical to be successful in this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:● Presetting the software with user preferences and performing routine analysis, including data mapping, and updating the database. ● Maintain existing scripts and processes.● Perform Unit Testing● Collaborate with other developers.● Troubleshoot client issues.● Build new features and resolve defects. COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES● Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation skills.● Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to dig into complex code issues and data analysis.● Excellent technological skills, including strong C#.Net, VB.Net, SQL● Proficiency with Windows Forms, Excel and VBA. ● Familiarity with ClickOne, AWS, and Git are a plus.● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a knack for visual design, along with multi-tasking skills.● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.● Great team player thinking with the ability to work in small, high functioning teams.
