Chief JavaScript Developer

Description

We are in search for a remote Chief JavaScript Developer to join our team.

Your main responsibilities will include architecting end-to-end solutions, evaluating JavaScript frameworks, and providing technical guidance to development teams. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JavaScript technologies, frameworks, and libraries, coupled with exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate JavaScript frameworks, libraries, and tools to recommend optimal solutions based on project requirements, performance considerations, and scalability needsProvide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycleDesign and implement robust frontend architectures using JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.jsProvide scalable and maintainable backend solutions using JavaScript technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, or NestJSLead full stack development initiatives, integrating frontend and backend components to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutionsImplement robust security measures and best practices to protect JavaScript applications from security vulnerabilities, cyber threats, and data breachesOptimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability through efficient code design, data caching, and asynchronous processingPrepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practice guides for JavaScript solutions

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 7 years of relevant work experience2+ years of relevant leadership experienceExpertise in JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including React.js, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Express.js, or NestJSProficiency in frontend development languages and technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, or serverless architecturesExpertise in backend development technologies, RESTful APIs, and database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in JavaScript applicationsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersC1 English level proficiency

Nice to have

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Certification in JavaScript frameworks or architectureContribution to open-source projects or active participation in technical communities focused on JavaScript development
