Senior Shopify Developer (Backend development)

Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Shopify themes according to design specifications and brand guidelines.Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the shop for overall efficiency and functionality.Build custom Shopify apps using Shopify API and other relevant technologies.Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across all devices.Analyze data and perform A/B testing to optimize user experience and conversion rates.Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Shopify configuration, themes, and apps.Work with HTML5, CSS3, JSON, JavaScript, DOM, jQuery, ES2015/ES.Detailed knowledge of Shopify Catalog structure and merchandising tools.Proficient in Shopify Liquid programming language.Knowledge of Shopify marketplace, including third-party plug-ins.Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, Meta fields, and theming system.

Requirements:

Relevant experience of 4+ years in Shopify development and overall experience of 7+ years.Must have worked with Shopify development dedicatedly for more than 4+ years.Handling offshore clients for all the projects worked on.Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.Excellent English communication skills.A Master’s degree in Computer Applications will be an added advantage.Hybrid work model.Very good opportunity to work with a rapidly growing e-commerce organization.
