Title: UX Developer Lead

Summary:

CEI’s financial services client is adding a Remote UX Developer Lead to their team based out of Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and mentoring a team of designers, with Adobe XD and refactoring applications to meet accessibility standards within the Consumer Lending service sector focusing on various operational and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business analysts, sponsors, project managers, and IT teams to understand and translate business requirements.Design user interface specifications applying client research, design standards, and industry best practices.Lead and mentor a team in creating wireframes, style sheets, and designs.Conduct interviews and meetings with business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.Collaborate with data engineers in the implementation of designs.Perform peer reviews and demos to showcase progress and solicit feedback.Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards for disability users.

Required Skills:

8 years of experience in User-centered design and UCD principles.Adobe XDAccessibility- need to know how to test what they are designing. All designs will need to pass tests for accessibility for disability users.Proficiency in building and maintaining style sheets (CSS or SCSS).Ability to create and interpret wireframes.Strong organizational and communication skills.Leadership qualities and problem escalation skills.Bachelor’s degree in human factors/usability or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Desired Skills:

Experience in consumer lending, monetary operations, document generation, and regulatory processes is beneficial.Interest or experience in development is a plus.
