Back End developer LATAM

About the RoleA globally recognized firm is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join their Carriers team! The Carriers team is responsible for developing new features, building infrastructure and maintaining current services. As a Senior Engineer, he/she will provide leadership and oversight in technical design, systems architecture, and coding for their team and the Engineering team. This role requires someone to be on-call rotation where you will rotate to on-call via round every 4-6 weeks for 1 week. This is the expectation that you will be available 24 hours to take the call anytime when needed in that 1 week. You will be compensated at the going rate per hour for the time the contractor is paged (typically around 0-6 hours). Job Requirements:5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer.5+ years of experience with Python.5+ years of experience with Django.5+ years of experience with SQL.Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud.Excellent spoken and written English communication skillsOffer Details:Long-term contractor position (no medical/paid leave)Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)REQUIRED: 8-hour overlap with PST (Pacific Time)Interview Process:2 rounds (one technical for 30 min + one culture fit for 30 -45 min)Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
