Ascendon is expanding its teams in Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Developer II who is well versed in adopting new technology and architecture, and like solving challenging problems and making the work environment enjoyable
We are looking for a Software Developer II who will:
You will build highly available, scalable, resilient, and maintainable systemsYou will continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting, automation, or application packagingYou will support the platform in customer-facing environments, including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the systemYou should be willing to grow and learn from those around youYou will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service and teamworkYou will perform unit tests code and debug thoroughlyYou will support system and solution integration testing, user acceptance testing and resolve problems encounteredYou will participate in code reviews, design reviews, or other forms of team quality proceduresYou should be able to collaborate effectively with other team members on the team

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or technically related field, or equivalent professional experience2-5 years of experience in software development and software support/maintenanceExperience in C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, Web Services, SOAP, and ASP.Net CoreWork well within a team environment using Agile methodsSome experience with Cloud Services such as Amazon Web ServicesFamiliarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processesAbility to support on-call rotationProficiency in English in a business environment is a must
