Job Responsibilities:Building, updating, and maintaining responsive websites in PHP.Strong hold on SQL concepts like joins, unions, stored procedure, triggers and more. Preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.Concepts of curl and plugin installations.Writing clean, well-designed code and contributing to all phases of the website development lifecycleDesigning and implementing new features and functionalityWorking closely with digital strategists, and designersUnderstanding client requirements and translating them into proper UX and UI functionalityConfiguring and customising WordPress, WP plugins, and integrating with other toolsInteracting with REST APIs and Formats (JSON, XML)Maintaining the websites on a monthly basis and managing domains and serversPerforming quality assurance before going live with any website updatesSkills And Qualifications4+ years of front-end website development and maintenance experience in WordPress/PHPKnowledge of payment integrationExperience in user role based development.Highly skilled in converting design to wordpress with knowledge on Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD. Prior experience in Figma.Knowledgeable in HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, and JavaScript (with JQuery)Proficient in code versioning tools, including Git, Mercurial, and SVNFluent in written and spoken EnglishStrong knowledge of web hosting environments to work with the website support vendor on any issuesAbility to work in a team environment effectively and independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniquesAbility to manage multiple tasks and maintain a balance of prioritiesAttention to detail is a mustExperience in user profile development is an added advantage.Good judgment to solve problems proactively and independently and make decisions
